Falafel Amara

"The best food in a world where millions starve everyday is simple food made well. The gentlemen here have fed me well during times do homelessness. After a intense football match ( even more satisfying if my team lost) They really know what they are doing and I used to work as a line chef and they care for their small business and serve their food well. It doesn't have to be some fancy London, New York or Paris restaurant. When food is good it's good. I would defend them with my life. I am lucky enough now to be their neighbour, after 2 and a half years searching for a long term apartment in Berlin. If you come near them with nothing but malice in your heart, I will find you, I will force fees you their delicious meals and it will be the most delicious death you have. You have been warned. But please come and eat there if your heart is filled with love and peace."

"The falafel is freshly made & deep fried upon ordering. The chicken meat is very tender and tasty. Hummus, other sauces & the fresh vegetables went well with the meat & breads. Heavenly. There is limited seating but enough for us to sit and enjoy our food."

"Visiting from Canada. This little gem is hidden in the middle of the neighbourhood near my hotel, was so good I had it twice in one day. The falafel I had in the morning was phenomenal and really took me back to Syria with its rich flavours, in the evening I had the chicken shawarma which really delivered in flavour, juiciness and a generous quantity. Would definitely recommend to any tourist or anyone looking to have a Syrian style shawarma/falafel"
